Dennis and Priscilla found their first Kerry, Duffy, in 1964. He was purchased from a family friend who had a litter as a contractual agreement with the breeder of the bitch. The bitch was bred by Gorden Cunningham, Sapphire Springs Kennels.
After Duffy's untimely passing at the age of 11 we looked for another Kerry and were guided by Emmie Jones (Keriwyre) to Ruth Ann Gobble (now Reilly). She had a litter and we purchased a female from that group and began showing. She got her CD August 26, 1978. This was also my very first AKC title.
I then purchased another female, this time from Ruth Gettings (Belturbet) and began showing in conformation. She finished in 1981 and this was my first breed champion.
I bred her and we had our first litter.

Dennis and Priscilla are active members of the Harrisburg Kennel Club, Lancaster County Kennel Club, United States Kerry Blue Terrier Club and the Philadelphia Kerry Blue Terrier Club
We will be doing very limited showing this year. Sam (Ch. Carbury Play it Again) is the only kerry we have that is showable. Witch has been retired and Mark, who would love to keep showing has ears that point east and west. I will be judging a sweepstakes in the spring.We look forward to seeing many of our friends (new and old) this season starting with the Celtic Cluster in York, PA
